Hanna's dance company had a special performance for parents last Friday night. Hanna attended the rehearsal the Tuesday night before this performance, but she had missed 4 rehearsals prior to that rehearsal due to her ankle sprain and the flu. I think she was still one of the best ones out there!! (She's the one in the middle of the shot, the only one without a hat.) (2 min., 29 sec.)
Joshua is involved with a Bible Quiz team from our church that competes in Bible Trivia against other teams in our region. Two of the 3 teams from our church came in 1st in our region, so they go onto the state competition, then possibly go onto nationals. Of course, Joshua is on the 1 team that didn't make it to state, but we weren't able to study as much as we would've liked due to all the goings-on in our lives these days. These are photos from his last meet. (The other boy is his best friend, Josiah.)
We've had a couple showings since I last updated on the sale of our present home. Neither one went as hoped. Not very much interest.
Our new house is coming along. The siding is going up during these nice 40 degree days. It will soon snow and turn a bit more wintery, so then they'll do the woodwork in the home (it's not stained yet, which is why they're not doing it now), and then the carpet and the cabinets and so on. We'll be having a CRP wind break tree line planted this spring as well as lots of pheasant habitat. Marc is very excited about that!
I need to go now. Asher is hungry! Oh yeah, he had his 2 week checkup yesterday. They hope to have the babies back up to their birth weight by their 2 week checkup. Asher was up a whole pound, over a 1/2 lb. more than expected!! He's doing great!
