Marc and Joshua on pheasant opener
Joshua and Hanna are doing well. We joined a homeschool co-op that meets a few times a month for activites. Hanna made a friend there the first day. She even started talking to her all on her own without any prodding from me, a first. Joshua's best friend was involved with this homeschool group last year, but didn't join again this year. There are a lot of other boys his age, though, so he is not without friends. There are 80 kids registered with this group, ages newborn - 6th grade.
We had Fall Festival at our church again on October 31st. It has been SO incredibly packed in years past that I think some parents tended to shy away this year. It was still hugely popular, and a jackpot for candy! Here are some photos of "trick or treating" at grandparents' homes and Marc's work.
Asher as Winnie the Pooh (all 3 have now worn this costume).
Joshua as an army guy (3rd year in a row), Hanna as a fairy/angel, Asher as Pooh
Gramma Carol with the kids
Great-Gramma Joan with the kidsOn MEA weekend (a long weekend off from school for the state of MN for a teachers conference), we had my sister's son, Kabe, who's Joshua's age and the daughter of my childhood best friend, Jaden, who's about Hanna's age. We had a crazy busy weekend, but on the last day, we went to the Nelson Farm, an historic farm that opens up in the fall to the public. It was very fun! Both of my kids went there with their preschool class years ago, but it's very different on family days. Here are some photos:

Well, it's getting harder to update this blog. Asher's getting so busy. The video of him crawling on our deck was almost a month ago, and he's a pro at it now. He's into EVERYTHING. Check back at this site every couple of weeks. I might surprise you.
