We've decided to put the kids back in school. It was a very hard decision for me, but I am getting burned out after such a busy year and a half. Hanna and Joshua visited schools last week. Joshua visited his new class at Lincoln on Friday. He was invited to join them for their Christmas party. Hanna visited 2 schools last week. We've prepared for her to go the smaller Christian school in Willmar, so she spent Friday with them. On Wednesday, I arranged for her to visit a class taught by Joshua's former 1st grade teacher at Lincoln, Mrs. Leitch. We think she's the greatest. Well, evidently Hanna thought so too, cuz she's decided to go to Lincoln instead of the Christian school. The girls in that class were very kind to her. She felt comfortable almost right away. And, we discovered that she is one of the best readers in their class. She'll do great! It will be nice having them both at the same school.
Asher caught a cold last week. It has affected his eyes terribly, poor thing. Through it all, he's still pretty amiable. The worst day was the day he came down with it, as it usually is. He's such a honey. He's been giving us kisses lots the last few days. I've already caught his cold, so it doesn't matter if he wants to give me hundreds of kisses. I'll take 'em!

Asher was dedicated on December 7th. Mom and Dad were down for the Christmas production at church, so we were able to do it all in one weekend. Here is a photo of him on his big day! We didn't get any of the actual dedication, because we were all (parents and grandparents) up there on the platform.

By the way, I can't pass up letting everyone know that Hanna was up on stage in our Christmas production this year. She was an extra, she was my child and we were both townspeople in Bethlehem. She didn't have to speak at all, but she did mouth the words to all the songs. I think she's a natural actor . . . if only we can get her to talk!
It's Marc and my 12th Anniversary today. We're going to try to get a babysitter, but I don't know who'll be able to come out on a day like today. We'll try!
I should go so I don't waste my whole free day on the computer. More to come after the hoidays, I'm sure!
