She was born to family of calico barn cats in the beginning of June, just about 3 years ago. We visited that home when she was 4 weeks old and fell in love with her. She was this fiesty kitten that wanted to play. Marc didn't fall in love so much with her. He tolerated her for us, but that ended when he spent all his hard-earned money on a new home.
Joshua spent some time with her last night in our old house. I peeked in on his private moments with her, and he was crying. He understands but doesn't agree with our decision. It helps to know she has a good home. He's actually fine today. He said that dad owes him a thousand dollars. He hasn't learned yet that you can't put a monetary value on love. He thinks that in 2 years he's going to buy a new cat. (I don't know where the 2 years came from.) I told him not to get his hopes up.
We took some photos and a video of Karly on her last day with us. We will miss you, Karly!
