Marc Made the Paper! . . . Or Did He?

On fishing opener, Marc and a buddy went to fish on Diamond Lake near our new home. A couple of his friends were fishing on Minnewaska in Glenwood.

Marc saw someone taking photos of them from shore. When the guy asked what their names were, Marc told him the names of his 2 buddies on Minnewaska, just to be weird. Then Marc asked where he was from. He said that he was from the West Central Tribune, the paper out here. Marc realized he may have made a mistake.

Sure enough, when the Outdoors section of the paper came out the next week, Marc was on the front page, with the names of his 2 buddies in the caption. Pretty funny! I guess one of the wives said, "I thought you said you were gonna be in Glennwood fishing!" We had a good laugh about the whole thing. We're saving the paper.
